Q&A with Paris Cameron

Q: What brought you to Mosaic?

A; I attended the Mosaic Summer Camp for the past three years. My desire was to join the ensemble to be able to sing and act.

Q: Can you share a specific moment or experience at Mosaic that has had a profound impact on you?

A: Auditioning and being accepted into Mosaic were impactful to me. However, getting the role of one of the main characters for the Jr. Ensemble production was the most impactful. It was my first major production, and learning the copy, songs, and choreography was challenging but fun for me!

Q: How do you see the skills and knowledge you’re gaining at Mosaic translating to your future goals artistically, educationally, and professionally?

A: My future goals are to do commercial work and to become a nurse. The skills I’m learning from Mosaic will help me with both my goals. I am learning how to communicate, memorize information, take directions, and work with other people.

Q: Can you share a specific moment or experience with Mosaic that challenged you, but ultimately helped you become a stronger artist or leader?

A: I was having a hard time learning my lines. I had to practice over and over until I knew them. Even when I felt like giving up, I kept practicing.

Q: Please finish the phrase “Mosaic is…”

A: …inspiring!!!!!
