Join a Mosaic First Stage Program!

Mosaic’s First Stage Ensembles introduce Young Artists to Mosaic’s brand of high-energy, empowering, and inspiring performing arts training. Ensemble members of Mosaic First Stage learn the basics of performance including articulation, projection, singing technique, and movement all through high-energy games, monologues, and scenes. The program culminates with a showcase for family and friends on the big stage!

No previous experience required !

Saturday Arts Academy

Mosaic, in conjunction with The College for Creative Studies, Detroit School of Arts and the Detroit Public School Community District, have developed a unique, creative education opportunity for interested, passionate 6th, 7th & 8th grade students, to explore the arts alongside masterful arts educators and teaching artists.


January 11 - June 6

Detroit School of Arts


Explore a variety of dance techniques, styles and genres to unlock the dancer inside.

Instrumental Music

Gain skills in the theory and practice of playing musical instruments towards the goal creating and performing solo and ensemble music.

College for Creative Studies

Drawing and Illustration

Learn the realistic drawing techniques important for your personal and professional drawing portfolios.

Introduction to Digital and Media Arts

Explore a wide variety of digital imaging programs and applications used to create digital art.

First Stage Eastern Market Ensembles

Mosaic’s First Stage Program at Eastern Market introduces Young Artists, ages 7-10 years old, to Mosaic’s brand of high-energy, empowering and inspiring performing arts training.

Minimum enrollment of 25 students. Mosaic reserves the right to cancel any classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment.
