Mosaic Auditions – 2024 / 2025 Season!
Mosaic is a non-profit creative youth development organization committed to enhancing the social, emotional, artistic, and academic development of young people via transformative artistic experiences in the city of Detroit, abroad, and now online!!
In our 30+ year history, Mosaic has uplifted the lives of hundreds of young people, ages 7 to 18, with professional performing arts training (Acting, Singing, and Technical Theatre), and performances that engage, transform and inspire audiences and participants.
Auditions for Rising 8th Through 12th Graders
What: Auditions
When: June 4th and June 6th | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Auditionees will be required to attend both days of auditions to be considered.
Where: Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, 2251 Antietam, Detroit, MI
Attire: Physical education attire for this audition, not dress clothes; You will be asked to move a lot during these auditions (so think gym class); full length shirts and close-toed gym or tennis shoes required; no jeans; NO CROCS
Preparation: There is no need to prepare anything specific for the first day of auditions. These auditions will include movement, acting, singing, and tech theatre components for everyone. All Mosaic participants are asked to be involved in all of these activities throughout the year, so be prepared to explore a wide range of activities throughout auditions.

Step 3: Any young artists conditionally accepted to the ensemble will be REQUIRED to attend the September intensive month beginning after Labor Day. Invitations to this September intensive will be sent out during the week of June 10th.
